Billing information (processed securely by our payment provider)
Appointment data you create within the platform
Usage data: login times, features used, reminder statistics

2.3 End Users (Your Clients)

Name and phone number (provided by you, the business owner)
Appointment details (date, time, service type)
Reminder responses (confirm/cancel)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

SMS providers — to deliver text message reminders (data processed within the EU where possible)
Messaging providers — to deliver WhatsApp reminders
Hosting providers — to host and serve our platform (EU-based or with adequate safeguards)
Payment providers — to process subscription payments securely
Email providers — to send transactional and marketing emails

All third-party providers are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and are required to process data in accordance with GDPR.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA) wherever possible
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses)
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
We implement access controls, monitoring and regular security reviews

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions: 12 months, or until you request deletion
Account data: Duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion
Client appointment data: Duration of your account (you can delete individual records at any time)
Billing records: 7 years (Irish tax law requirement)

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your personal data
Rectification — correct inaccurate data
Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Restriction — restrict processing of your data

8. End-User Rights (Your Clients)

As a business using RemindMe, you are the data controller for your clients' data. You are responsible for:

Having a lawful basis to send reminders (e.g., legitimate interest based on an existing appointment)
Informing your clients that reminders are sent via RemindMe
Handling data subject requests from your clients

Clients can opt out of reminders at any time by replying STOP to any message.
